I have been in SL almost 7 months now. I have a problem that a shirt I put on will not come off. If I change to another shirt the other shirt will go on but when I am naked or just changing the shirt won't come off. I looked in my inventory and it says it's off but it is not off. I even took everything off of my avi except skin, shape and eyes and it still won't come off. I bought this outfit and have worn it a few times before but never had this problem. Can anyone tell me what to do to have this shirt come off? Please contact me inworld I don't mind. Arael Zanzibar...hugs to all.

It's possible that the shirt is actually painted on the skin layer, although that doesn't seem likely in view of the fact you say you've worn the outfit before.
I suggest you try wearing a different skin and see what happens.

I suggest you try wearing a different skin and see what happens. This persistant shirt has happened to me once or twice and changing my skin and then changing it back always solved it. |

Arael, here's what worked for me. Kitty Barnett gave me these instructions: From: someone Originally Posted by Kitty Barnett1) Take off all clothing (probably want to be somewhere private ) 2) Left-click on the "corrupted" skin and Ctrl-C to copy it 3) Create a new folder (the point here is that you can tell the copy from the original so this is just one easy way to do that) and Ctrl-V to paste a copy of the skin into there 4) Wear some other skin (there's some in the library, if you do not have any) 5) Edit / Preferences - Network - Clear Cache and close SL & relog 6) Rebake 7) Wear the *copy* of the skin, do another clear cache and relog  Rebake Not all of the steps are always necessary, but going through the whole elaborate thing gives you the best chance of making it work. If it works, delete the original skin and just wear the copy from then on. |

Technically you can't remove a skin - but you can put another skin over the top of it. There are freebie skins at free malls and other places around SL. Most people might have a full perm one they can give you to try.
