will I only be charged the $25 Tier because of the 512 premium bonus? And can I use the prims from the 512 lot on the 4096 lot? Thanks

If you mean that you also own the 512, and that 512 is in the same sim, then yes to both.

Yes that is what I mean...I'd buy both... They are attached, side by side.. Can the prims from the 512 be used to build things on the 4096? Thanks

If both parcels are anywhere in the same sim, yes, their prim counts are additive and can be distributed however you please across the parcels that you own in that sim.

If the parcels are across a sim border from one another, their prim counts do not add together.

Just as long as they're in the same sim.

How do you tell for certain that they are in the same sim? I suppose I could buy a parcel thats near by and it's actually in another sim... How does one check this?

The gray bar up at the top of the screen tells you, like so:

Restriction Icons, Sim Name, Location (Vector), Rating (PG, Mature), Parcel Name

For instance, where I am now I have 3 restriction icons, follow by:

Zeppelin Bay 124, 125, 3900, (Mature), Eternal Dawn

Zeppelin Bay is the sim, <124,125,3900> is my location vector, (Mature) is the parcel rating, and Eternal Dawn is the parcel name.

Also, if you click the text up there (Any part of it, or go to world > about land), and go to the covenant tab, Region is listed, and that's the sim.

/me points to the posts above. Yep, yep and yep.

Only land within a region that _has the same owner_ shares prims, though. If, say, you have two groups and set one parcel to one group and the other parcel to the other group, those parcels won't share their prims..

Also, since it doesn't seem to have been answered, yes. If you pay the 4096 meter tier, you can actually have 4608 metres, or 5068 if you give your tier to a group (Groups get a 10% tier bonus)

You can form a group at any time. If you already own the land, after the group is created, deed the land to the group and there will be an option for giving tier with it - that transfers your personal tier contribution to the group to cover the land. The group will then automatically show a total amount of tier that is 10 percent more than the actual tier donated.

If you have not bought the land yet, form the group and then when you buy the land, make sure that group is active and you get an option of 'buy land for group' and you will also then get an option to donate tier at the time of the purchase.

Inworld there is a group called, I think, 'SL Land Answers' (someone will correct that if it is wrong) - join that group and in group chat someone will walk you thru the process step by step and answer any questions as you go.
