Is there anything new and interesting being trialled on the Beta Grid or on the First Look or Release Candidate viewers?

Currently the RC is the same as the Regular viewer. The First Look viewer available is the SLim version that has been out for a while. I've not clue about the beta grid - have not logged in there in quite a while.

I was down at the Beta Grid the other day setting out some of my stuff in an empty sandbox. It seemed to perform OK.
