I didn't see this issue addressed elsewhere on the forums. Why is the main map turning gray, but only when I try to zoom in almost all they way? It's been doing this for a couple of days. It looks ok, though too small, when I zoom out a little. I never realized how much I rely on it until I can't see it very well. Is it the rolling restarts? I see some scattered sims that are red.

You need to give it a litle time to rez .. try zoom out and back again .. a few times.. let it build the big picture.

It's just that I've never seen this before. I'm used to people being gray, not the map. So I guess it's ok to tp into the gray area and I won't be frozen permanently in Ruth mode and be suddenly doing a Salsa with an Xcite product I don't own stuck to my forehead or something. I'm feeling brave tonight. . .

I get it all the time. Waiting and zooming in and out doesn't help me. I haven't filed anything on it. I guess it hasn't been a big deal enough to make me do so but it is damned annoying.

I've had it once before, with 25+ blingtards on a neigboring plot... later same map (incorrectly) showed me as the only person there... 10 mins later, poof, by by sim

I've had it happen when they are monkeying with the grid in some way, shape, or form.. It's like the poor map TRIES to rez and finally gives up.

Well, I suffered no ill effects from it as it turns out. Glad to know others have seen this.
