Hi all
My question is. How can I run two totally independend viewers that do not share any user or configuration data.
I want multiple independent setups, not multiple login such as you can have by adding -multiple to the startup command line.
One setup I want as a normal SL type configuration, all the sights and sounds of SL. The other a setup suitable for playing with performance vehicles and weapons, low graphics, no logging, lower rez...all that low lag stuff.
Thank You

I assume this is for the same character, run at different times (not two completely separate accounts, which might be simpler). Disclaimer: I haven't tried this, and client parameters have a habit of hanging around even if they don't do anything, but... what I'd try is to create different shortcuts for starting the viewer, specifying different files for the "--settings" parameter. The client parameters are listed at http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Client_parameters, in case there are any others that look promising. [Edit to add: Welcome to the Forums! ]

That did the trick
I had seen that but I did not realise that was the config file, and that the config was in a single file.
it was apain changing all the settings back and forth all the time
Thanks again
