If a Region locked in the searches ...

if a region of LindenLab for camping abuse has been locked in the search > how long is this blocking?



Someone knows? Did someone experience?

Usually a first offence is a warning, like this one:

Violation: Community Standards : Gaming Traffic Violation
Region: —
Description: Gaming traffic violation
Action taken: Warning issued.

Second offence is usually a temporary ban for 3 to 14 days, depending on the situation.
Third offence is for the same thing is almost always a permenant ban.

Not finding this place in search may not be anything to do with camping abuse or being banned.

paid camping illegal and enforced.
free bot camping continues as if allowed.

LL ain't getting any more of my money, that's all i know.

Does that mean I should drop the AR hammer on all those "window washers" in the region just to the south of me? My child agent count at home hasn't been less than 25 since.. God I don't even know...

Why LL does not call the duration of the punishment? Why LL does not respond to my ticket? Does the LL support yet? Do you have experience with this?

When the bot policy was announced, it was explained that land owners would get a warning, possible suspensions, and ultimately "removal from search altogether" if they didn't comply. Nothing was said about bans from search being temporary.

I noticed that a 14 day suspension was recently handed out for a big weapon stores sim, but the sim's owner is not currently suspended. The sim is still there and still loaded to the gills with bots, but none of its parcels show in search any more.

I have never seen LL tell anyone but the punished resident the duration of their disciplinary actions.
There is the police blogger that tells durations, but that one does not tell names, so keeping privacy of the residents, even if they misbehaved.

Also the issuer of the AR will not get an answer about the action taken.
Never heard of somenone being sure about what happened to those they ARed.

Only thing is, that sometimes to directly see the action taken, like I once witnesses a perm ban (looks like a logout or crash) and then another alt appearing shouting "My Ava has been banned!" ... and - as G-Team still must have been present - that alt vanished within seconds too.

So sometimes you witness the action taken, or don't find a place in search that you ARed, but that's normally not the case.
And for privacy reasons the Lindens - neither G-team nor support will tell you data about other avatars.

I have a ticket on 07/12/2009 is written - up to now received no reply.

I had phonecalls Germany to the USA - but there is only the Department of invoices. This division is no issues and dont give the responsible for the next right department, and there is no information.

And i dont get a response of my ticket at the 07/12/2009 - it is more then three days ago.

You may be stuck wtih this decision, at least for now. Only you and LL know how many warnings were sent about your sim. I only noticed one incident for your sim in the blotter, but I don't read it every day, and the public record is not complete. If you think there were too few warnings, maybe you can base an appeal on that?

You know, putting all the bots back as soon as you've been reinstated in search may not be the best of plans. Just sayin'.
