Hey, pleading for help again. For a while now I've noticed any sculpted prim that is supposed to be mirrored... isn't. So I'll see two left ears/legs/whatever on Avatars, and anything else a mirrored sculpt was used on.
I have updated to the latest version of Second Life, and cleared my cache file. Still, I see doubled one sided items.
Any hints how to correct this?

It sounds like you may be logging in with an old instance of SL. Perhaps a dated RC, or an old third-party client like coolSL or something. Like somehow you've got two programs that can log in to SL, and aren't using the right one.
I assume you've already tried clearing cache.. since you've tried reinstalling already. Take an extra step, and uninstall SL. In fact go through your HD and make sure you've uninstalled every copy of SL. Hang on to the files in your chat history and such (if that's important to you, in windows that's c:/documents and settings/windowsuser/Application Data (it's a hidden directory)/SecondLife/)
Then delete any shortcuts you might be using to log in to SL (quicklaunch, etc).
Now install the latest version of the SL client.
That's all I can think of.
Another thing to mention, is that sculpts mirror in a really strange way, and the flipping isn't always as useful as one might hope. So if the sculpts you're talking about are your own sculpts and not commercial products, that may be the problem... they may be flipping fine, but not in the direction you expect.

I had this exact problem on the 1.20 viewer. Advice from a prominant shoe creator prompted me to update to 1.22 series viewer and all was fixed.
