Group showing in search

Hello

I set up a new group yesterday, immediately making sure it has two members to avoid it being disbanded.

I ticked the 'appear in search' box, but so far it is not showing up in either search groups or search all.

I'm guessing there's a delay with this. I checked knowledge base but could find no reference to it.

Does anyone know if this is a normal delay? Or is there a glitch preventing new groups showing in search? Or am I missing something obvious?

Many thanks, Kel.

Yes a normal delay, up to 24 hours I believe.

PS hmmmm I can't remember now, do you have to select the pay option of L$30 per week to appear in search?

No, 30L is for land to appear in search, groups and profiles are free to be found. And it can sometimes take up to 48 hours for search to catch up.

I noticed an odd thing a few months ago when I started a group. The group took two of three days to show up when I entered it in TundraFire's Search, but it was included in my alt's Search in only a few hours.

Apart from the All tab, I've always had instant changes in search. but the groups tab has changed to the All search system, so it'll take a day or two. Right now, the All search appears to be down.
