voice changers (where to get them)

Does anyone know of a good voice changer program? (preferably free as I do not need it on a continuing basis, just a one time use)

I did a search on the web, but everything I found was trial based, which did not allow saving the sound files when done (which is what I need it to do)

so, if you know of a good, albeit free, voice changing program let me know please

(and no, I am not trying to hide my voice, anyone who has heard me knows I am female LOL)

just need it to record some voice clips with a not so ordinary voice

You could get Audacity and record the clips then modify using their large array of filters.

Rha, try the MorphVOX Junior by Screaming Bee. Its free.

I played around with it some and though I had a hard time believing my voice was truly morphed….you don’t hear your voice unless you do something with the settings that I didn’t want to do. Also I think you need to make sure and pay attention during setup or it does crazy things like try to associate a bunch of file types you don’t really want associated with it. Could be wrong though or thinking of another program. Anyway you may want to try that one. :)

In addition to the free Junior version, the Pro version comes with a free trial period, and it's much more capable. Download the free add-on voices too.

If you do decide to buy the Pro version, you don't have to pay anything close to the asking price of $40. When the trial expires, uninstall it and the uninstaller will offer to take you to a site that will let you get it for free. It's not quite free, really; you have to accept one of their internet offers, but one of them is "free" business cards from VistaPrint. They actually cost a few dollars (you have to pay shipping) but it's a lot less than $40 and you get business cards to boot! (There were other offers as well; none of the others appealed to me, but maybe you'll find something you like.)

I looked at screaming bee the voice morph thing
it was not able to save the files unless I got the pro, and I did not/do not want to have to pay for this, not even a couple bucks via an "offer" and have no need for business cards

I will keep looking

found one that "might" work called funny voice
