Has anyone noticed that their avatar is walking differently? Anyone without an AO, that is. I have one of Fa Nyak's golf clubs, and I wear it all the time, my avatar carries it over one shoulder. Today I noticed that when I walk, suddenly the club leaves my shoulder and I start swinging my arms. Also, I have a longer stride than before.
I'm just wondering if this is just me, or if the Lindens put a new walk animation into play. I tried detaching everything and relogging, just to make sure that I didn't have something with an AO in it, and I was still walking differently after the relog.

Ok, I just clicked back into SL after posting this, and my walk is back to normal. So.... I really have no idea what's up. Maybe the lindens were testing something. Or maybe I'm losing my mind.

This has come up with several friends and found this helps: Take everything off. Clothes, hair and any and all attachments. Some reloged but I didn't. I am back to normal. This also corrected the camera focusing in and out that was driving me crazy.

You've gone crazy from staring at the screen too long. Step back from the monitor, take a deep breath, get some coffee (about 5 cups worth at once) and then see if anything looks strange

I just had a go at making a child avie ... NOW I know who that default walk is made for - it's the perfect 4-year-old's toddle. heehee!
