Simple question, where do all you Brits hang out?? I have a lot of friends in the US and would like to find where the Brits and english speaking Europeans hang out. (i'm hopeless at languages)

We mingle, hopefully. I can't understand the notion of wanting to group people by their nationality in a place where all sorts is possible.

But that's just me. I think there are a few bars, clubs etc where there is a higher British concentration than in other places, but don't quote me on that. Search will be your friend here.

There are also gadgets (Babbler etc) which give rudimentary translations of what you say when conversing with someone who has no English which I imagine can lead to all sorts of amusing situations.

There used to be a club called London Retro Club that has just been refurbished and reopened as The Madchester I believe - I think that used to have a high percentage of Brits.

There's also an area called London Docklands and I'm sure I've ome across areas where primarily German people tend to hang out (plus other areas for different parts of Europe) - not to mention Fibber Magee's and The Blarney Stone for the Irish!

Like Max said, Search will be your best bet - enjoy exploring! :)

Someone passed me a notecard earlier for a British pub, I'll pass it onto you.

Wouldn't they say "Look you, chief, is it?"

Yup, the Madchester, and also Taffs Bar.
Crown & Pearl has a pretty high concentration of Brits as well.

Look for groups too, such as the Sexy Brits group. You have to be sexy though.

Popscene is a British club. Good music there!
