Me too. Splash screen says grid is down, but connect button works.

Welcome to the forums, Elysabeth! Sorry bout the circumstances tho. I assume you know to clear cache, etc.? Tho frankly if I were you I would log out now and wait until they get the grid stable.

Oh, and maybe my question about inventory loss in these situations is answered? Not exactly a statistically significant sample, tho, lol.

i could upload files when i first logged back in but now its the same as before probably because everyone is logged back in now.

Scratch that - I got logged out and when I try to log back in, I get a message saying Second Life is down for Maintenance.
