Standard viewer, silver skin, chat history colours: ouch!

I'm using the siver skin on the standard viewer - the buttons are a nicer shape :) - but the colour scheme in the chat history box makes for very uncomfortable viewing. It shows blue avatar names on a darker blue background, and this really doesn't work on a cheap laptop LCD.

Does anybody know what the debug settings for these colours are called, or perhaps the name and location (Windows Vista) of an xml file I can tweak to save my rapidly deteriorating eyesight? Or perhaps an even simpler method - though these are not options you can customise using Preferences/Text Chat.

Not sure if this will be of any use, but try looking in the colors_base.xml file for that skin.

I am not sure if it would improve things for you, but the Emerald viewer seems to have a clearer and more emphatic user interface to me.

Thank you Kit and Pep; I shall be following up both of your suggestions.
