Have a question to see if this is happening to anyone else. I have a large spot in My Sim that is showing the dark-grey color of being owned by someone else, yet there is nothing there. Check the Land tab for objects ... nothing, and as well it changes as I fly straight up .. changing to the light blue of being owned by me ...

Minimap was working fine this morning. Sounds like you misplaced a large object up in the air someplace. Give us a location and someone may be able to check it out for you.

Out world at the moment, the Sim is Houndsfield, and the weirdness is occuring right in the Office Centre.

This is if it was one of my objects it would appear cyan blue, not grey, and if it was someone elses object then It should show in the list of objects when I query the land.

Objects have a tendency to appear bigger on the mini map than they really are, and in particular the older megaprims that have been cut/dimpled/etc. will blot out much bigger areas of the minimap than their in-world looks would lead you to expect. Those privacy screen things are common culprits, but anything built that way can do it.

I could be wrong, but I think after a certain vertical distance, my own objects stop showing up cyan on the minimap and just show gray. For instance, if I log my alt in and place an object on my building platform at 1000 feet, I see it in cyan. If I then teleport to the ground, I don't think I see the object in cyan any more. (I haven't paid close enough attention to notice what the distances are.)

I noticed this a while ago, but it seems to be pretty consistent for me. (Kind of a good thing, too, or my minimap would be constantly cyan when I'm at home.)

Things that are over 768 Meters up still don't show right on the mini-map.
