Hi All

I'm new to Second Life. I have completed all but one of the tasks with the last task unable to be found. No one on the orientation island knows what the last task is and its in the move tutorial. I've completed the flying and the driving tutorial but cant find the third to get my pass port off orientaion island.

If any could help me with letting me know where it is it would be much apprieciated.

Ummm....When I went through OI (long ago), there was no need for a "passport". Granted thigns change, but have you tried just Teleporting to the Mainland?

Open the Map and click on anywhere on the Mainland, make sure you get the red circle for a destination and click the Teleport button on the Map UI.

If that doesn't work, let me know here and I'll see if I can scrape up a Linden, or Mentor somewhere. (More likely a Mentor as it's the weekend and Lindens turn to Hippos on the weekend LOL).

i've had a look in the map and it wont let me teleport anywhere and it doesn't show me anything but blue on the map.

Hello, Jessica.

If you go back to center of Orientation Island you'll see a Help Island sign. If you click that you will get a Landmark which pops up on your screen. Click Teleport and you are on your way.

Yes, the big HELP sign takes you inworld. It is right in the big central circle that you start in.

The move section has been broken for months. I had to rescue my brother when in his desperation to get the move circle test to give him his star, he had removed his pants and attached a large torch...as a CEO, he found this really a new experience and left to ponder it until big sis could drive his avatar, fully clothed, safely out of OI. I am so glad I got to experience the original OI, it was a lovely experience and a fond memory.
