I've been going on serious shopping sprees to make my new sim all purty. I have to say there are four creators that have impressed the crap out of me. I have known of them for a while now, but when I compare their stuff to a lot of the stuff out there, I am all the more impressed with these superstars:

Ace Albion: Gorgeous low prim prefabs at insanely low prices. How does she do it?

Lilith Heart: Drop dead gorgeous palms and flowers. Better than photo realism. How does she do it?

Aral Levitt: Her textures and designs for her beach homes and all things tropical are rich, beautiful and lovely. How does she do it?

Nimue Jewell: A newcomer to SL, she has already mastered the art of prim shaping and is knocking out some awesome super low prim furniture and accessories. How does she do it?

Oh, did I mention that all four excel at providing stellar customer service too?

So who is blowing YOUR mind lately with their creative talents?

The people behind Greenies - great creation. And I love that UFO in the mothership :)

Rachel Dooley - one of the few creators of clothing that seem to work with my a/o and very inexpensive (has to do with the flexi skirt).

People behind the Isle of Nymphetamine - went there to look at clothes but wandered around looking at the great sea/island stuff for several hours before wandered over to the shop. High quality looking building also :)

How do they do it? Alot of hard work learning photoshop, 3d modeling, and 3d modeling in SL specifically.

We're not in-world and we don't have access to them?

Oh . . . I don't even know how to post pictures in this forum that are saved inside of SL. The pictures I put up are saved on my hard-drive. And in this specific instance, I used pictures I had saved to my computer and then uploaded to Flickr (and then found the image link, used the image code and put into my message).

I just bought what I thought was a Knight's costume created by a designer named DigiKatt (can't remember last name sorry).

It actually turned out to be a statue of Knight which is far more impressive than a costume, so I am incredibly happy with my purchase.

My virtual self is so Lucky it is almost unbelievable.

:)

Great thread Raymond, thank you for providing everyone an opportunity to share.

I think DigiKatt's last name is Shaw.

I nominate Julia Hathor and her shop Creative Fantasy Home & Garden. Great variety, and the woman is overflowing with imagination. :)

Ok. I want to state for the record that I am totally flattered but I don't belong anywhere near this list. :o

In addition to the several amazing people listed already I would add Miriel Enfield's amazing jewelry and elegant handling of the permissions debate (she lets you choose) and shoes my Eponymous Trenchmouth. Her shoes are so good it is hard to believe that they are made of plywood prims, the detail is, frankly, unmatched, and she designs for men and women.

I would also like to add Paulo Dielli because his furniture is fantastic, he strives for perfection, and he was amazingly generous with his time and advice when I was starting out.

Oh, and there is a landlord who I hear is really great....sim named Liome I think, truly incredible. Just watch out, I hear that he may, from time to time, have crabs. :p

Whoever made the Deepspace room in the Rua sim. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you owe it to yourself to go see it. The entire universe in one little room. It's a small space physically, but it feels HUGE. I can go there and just float around for hours, especially with a little Pink Floyd in the background. The rest of Rua is awesome too.

Maximum Minimum is consistently good to teh extent that im currently shoe horning some of his furniture into a beach sim and it still looks good.

Id second Ace Albion - never bought one but fab low prim designs

And finally Cubey Terra - Penguintastic father of all things aerial

How do they do it? Dedication I guess

I also have to agree with lilith Heart, stunning, I do all the plants, trees etc for my sims from her

I would also add the following:

a) ArchTX: Best builder I have seen in sl, his homes are awesome (look for all the 'hidden' extras), great after sales too.

b) Andy Enfield: best rental system, the Hippotech. Great product, great support, listens to all his customer's suggestions (two of mine are in the next release). Excellent.

c) Persephone Milk: The absolutely best musical instrument designer in SL. Her pianos are amazing, one player or two, lots of built-in music, any color by chat command, lots of built-in poses (guy playing in tux, girl in gown draped across the grand piano, you get my drift). Her harps are equally amazing, and the attention to detail makes these the best. I put either the piano or the harp into all my SkyHomes.

Honorary mentions to Jack Belvedere, The Puppeteer, and Autumn Svarog

I forgot to list Jake Cellardoor. His realistic hummingbirds and frogs are my two favorite things and they always get rezzed first on any plot. Plus he's another avatar who has fantastic customer service.

I've been here 3 months and three designers stand out for me ----

1. Luna Bliss, behind the Bliss Gardens concept

2. Whoever did the Greenies world, especially the downstairs room

3. The Hobo hub at Calleta and everything associated with it (there's so much 'prettified' crap in SL, how refreshing to see someone who can do 'run down and derelict' in such a good way)

2> Did they add another level? I thought it was just one level in the house (with a tunnel underground, and a mothership in the sky).
