It must a setting in Firefox for me then. I get the SLurl page but nothing comes up in-world for me.

I've just given it another try and the link works in IE8 - it opens up a litle window with a form to fill in to create a SLURL - but it did not work in Firefox!

Marvelous - I can't get the forums to work with IE8, but they are ok in Firefox!

I must be expecting too much.

When I click on a Slurl to a place in-world, the box to TP does not come up in-world. I thought it was Firefox not recognizing the protocol but that seems to be okies... I think.

On the new SL website - open the World Map and there is a button top right that opens the form to create a SLURL. This does not seem to work with Firefox.

Slurls are not working in IE8 for me either. I turned off my firewall and no change.

Works for Firefox 3.5 on Leopard.

Zena, which SL viewer are you using? The official one or an alternate viewer? Can make a difference.

I'm using the official up to date one. I'll go and try Greenlife and see what happens... brb

Doesn't work in Greenlife either. I wonder what the major malfunction is?! I'm on WinXp32.

Same here. Using Firefox 3.5.2 and the newest Greenlife and its not working for me either. Seems its not just an isolated issue, as Google turns tons of people asking the same question.
