A few days ago, I was helping someone to make an account to go onto
SL and everything seemed to go fine at first. Selected a username, pw, gender, which avatar to use and got the email to activate it. Followed the link. see it saying "activating your accpount" then the page freezes while at the bottom bar it says: "transferring data from ssl.google-analytics.com" and there it stays. Anyone got any idea what is going on?

There were bad links in the activation emails that went out during the middle of the week.
http://status.secondlifegrid.net/2009/07/29/post709/ Either contact LL and try to get a good link, or just leave the account for dead and make a new one if the name wasn't special enough to bother fixing it. |
