Ok, so I tried to buy some L$'s and somehow it just put money in my account...and not L$. So, can I now buy them with the money in my account? I'd hate to have that money there and not even be able to apply it to L$.

Yes, you can use that US$ credit to buy L$, just follow the "LindeX Exchange" link on the left side of your account page and click on the big "Buy L$" button. _____________________

Cuz LL is stupid and considers putting US$ in to your account against the same limit that it checks for buying L$. The limit goes up in a couple of days -- here is the page that talks about them: http://secondlife.com/currency/describe-limits.php
If you don't mind putting some money into a second location, you can deposit some US$ into an Xstreet account and buy L$ there. Xstreet is now owned by LL, but the same limits do not apply. https://www.xstreetsl.com/ -- use your SL id/pswd to log in. _____________________
