due to some arrangements we used to have, and a flaw in the automated billing system of the company we were renting land from, we had to create a second group, recently, after there wasn't the need for that group anymore, the person who was capable of dealing with that group (due to the arrangements mentioned) made a few mistakes and now we are locked out of the group (she left an alt as the only owner, and then "threw alway" the alt, and doesn't have any way to get access to that account again), there are some people in that group that haven't logged in quite some time, so we can't have them leave the group and we also don't have any account with the power to kick members, I would like that secondary group to be deleted, or at least renamed to not be confused with the original group, what should I do?

I was hoping it was somthing I could do myself, some stuff happened between me and her and I would rater not have to ask her to do things for me (but unless she lied to me she also wants this group gone) me being the creator of the original group, and this secondary group having a very similar name, don't I have some leverage to have the Ls do somthing about that group? |

I was once told by an SL help desk person that if the founder of any group requested it they would be reinstated as the owner.
I learned this while doing multi-region transfers so I am pretty sure it's a fact. Never hurts to try. Have the founder of the group file a support ticket to be reinstated as the owner. Hopefully that's an avatar you can still access. _____________________
