The No-Script icon in the titlebar of version is to my eyes an unrecognizable blob. It doesn't look at like like something that suggests a script.
The older icon was adequate.
It's not a display problem, the icon is looking like its designed to look. To my eyes, it's just a very bad job of designing an icon.
How does it look to you?

I agree the new one really is unreadable and awful. I actually think there's a JIRA issue asking for it to be changed back but I can't bring myself to attempt to dredge the JIRA at the moment to find it, maybe later I'll bite the bullet and link it up.

not sure, never noticed I tend to not pay much attention to those little icons
because of my eyesight, no matter how well done, they all look like little blobs, old ones, new ones, lost ones... etc

From: Gordon Wendt ...I actually think there's a JIRA issue asking for it to be changed back... Possibly http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3317, although that seems to be about multiple generations of these icons, all icons in each version more or less indistinguishable from each other. To my eye, these icons have been getting progressively less effective with every revision, since I first started. Presumably the damned things will be skinnable, so there's some hope that someday a generous UI designer will bestir themselves to fix all LL's stylish but unusable viewer graphics.
