Hello, I have a problem with a house, It has been rezzed for several days now and just today i found out that on the second floor there is a spot in the prim that i fall through. Its not the whole prim, just a medium size section of it. I checked all properties and everything seems to be fine. Looking at it, there is not a visible hole either. Can someone help on this? thanx!

Can't say that I've ever seen this myself, but I've heard that sometimes a prim is somehow "defective" and Havoc mistakenly thinks it's hollow or cut or something. If the structure is copy/mod, you might unlink just that one prim and Shift-Drag it out of the way in the Editor, leaving a fresh copy behind, to see if it's similarly afflicted. Or replace it with one of your own. Worst case, if the thing isn't copy/mod, then perhaps one could make a full-alpha filler prim to patch over the gap.

This happens from time to time due to server lag or some glitch. Sometimes requesting a sim restart will fix it but it can take days or even weeks for the Lindens to process the support ticket for that.
Usually, what I do is just delete that prim and rez a new one. Sometimes just copying that prim and deleting the original will do the trick. Though that sometimes doesn't work.

It's almost certainly due to corrupted prim data. Try replacing that bad prim, or if the house is no-mod, put a prim rug over the area and ignore the flaw.

I've had that too - a number of times. It's not a sim border issue - it's just an issue. Replacing the prim, as has been suggested, deals with it.

From: Abel Dreamscape very close! 15-20 meters i would say. If linked to the house, DE-link that prim. Alternately, you can link a small prim, well into your sim, to the house, making the small prim the root prim. This will let the server know which sim to induce physics (ie, being able to stand on the floor) for the prim. Even Lindens have dealt with this problem. Use highlight transparent at any road crossing a sim border to see their "solution". I live ON a simborder so know the effects well *grins* ~Jessy

I had that with my house. It was the strangest thing. Rerezzing the house took care of the problem.

Usually this can be fixed by making the prim hollow and then un-hollow it, if you have modify rights to it of course.
