I really didn't know how important the typing feature is until my Avatar stopped typing.
Can someone tell me if this an ongoing issue or is the problem specific to my avatar.

Do you mean that you can't hear or see yourself typing but your messages are still going through? Cause if that's so, it is an option you can change in "CLIENT". I have it off myself.

Let's start with the most likely possibility. Have you started using a new ao? Depending on the animation your ao is using you may not have typing animations.

It might be that you are wearing an AO (animation override). When it's on, you won't type.

It is correct that my messages get through but that I don't hear or see the typing. Also it seems to be global because it is the same with my alts as well.

I'm sorry Tana, I'm not inworld and I can't remember how I got CLIENT to appear in my menu bar... I think it was in one of Torley's tutorials LOL But if you never had it in the 1st place then I guess it must be because of an AO you have on. I'm no help at all

I dont pay attention to the typing anim except on me when its going when it shouldnt.. I keep chat bubbles on to tell me who's typing and who said stuff ^^

The setting is called PlayTypingAnim and the default is true (It's one if the ones you get from Client->Debug settings, should've mentioned that bit) |

one of the animation guys (abrimations?) sells an attachment that overrides ao animations to restore the typing animation.
