Invisible

hi,

There seems to be some type of invisible prim on my land blocking anyone from that area. Either it blocks completely or you wind up going up what seems like stairs. I went to the "highlight transparent" but it still can't be seen.

Someone said the server or the region needs to be reset for it to go away but I don't know if it's true or not.

Anyone know anything about this and how it can be made to go away?

they are commonly known as ghost prims, yes a sim restart makes them go away

if it doesn't it could be an invisiprim, a transparent textured wall behind will make it show up if it is

If it's an invisible prim, you will be able to select it in Edit mode and get the creator's name or return it if the center of the prim is on your land.

If it can't even be selected, then it's a ghost prim, and the only way to get rid of it is a sim restart.

The last few times this has happened to me it has been because of mega prim sculpties...which were plants. A tree that was pretty far from the area affected actually made an area about 25 in diameter unpassable. Check any new or existing one prim plants and you might have your culprit.

btw...you cant see this diameter using the highlight transparent function...so you have to actually check each one prim plant to find out which one it is. The sculipties appear as one unit with no visible extensions

I didn't think about the megasculpty as a possibility. If it's that, you can solve it by making the sculpty phantom.
