DJ'ing at a club in SL. Music comes in without problem with no break-up. When I hit the mic-on key, My voice comes over the stream with a steady, broken but understandable, enough just to be irritating when I'm doing a promo, etc. I've tried 3 different headsets including 2 analog, and 1 usb

For technical Specifics:

128Kbit Audio Stream
My Inet connection is cable 3MB
Using SAM Broadcaster 4

All drivers, etc are up to date....Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

If you go into the voice FX EQ I believe there should be a setting for voice buffer, try increasing the buffer and seeing if that improves your VOs. If this is the case it may be a band width or lag issue as you have seemed to ruled out your headsets.

Typically I do not broadcast over 96kbps, this is most so those with slower connections or that have large internet lag can still listen to the music clearly though I know a higher bitrate sounds better. 96kbps is in the neighborhood of CD quality so I see little reason exclude others for little improvement in audio quality.

I thought there may be a trick with specific settings for the VFX configuration. I had also thought of straightlining the Mic output to the on air vice going through all the DSP processing line, but the buffer makes sense. Also Thanks for tip about the 96k, I have not received any problems with 128k, but will try comparing the two and see how they work on my stream archives. Appreciate the tips, will try them ASAP...

You are welcome. The stream bit rate it my personal preference especially since my crowd tends to be international and European residents tend to have lag issues when it comes to North American streams.
