I found this on the incident report:

Date: Saturday, September 19, 2009
Violation: Community Standards : Gaming Traffic Violation
Region: Althena Cove
Description: This is just a warning notice. No suspension of your account has been applied at this time.
Action taken: Warning issued.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Date: Saturday, September 19, 2009
Violation: Community Standards: Assault, Scripted Objects
Region: Force
Description: Assault: Scripted Object.
Action taken: Warning issued.

On the first one they put the action taken under the descripton instead of describing the incident. All the rest are the way they are supposed to be.

It's probably that way because the g-team member involved probably didn't realize the rest of us can read them from the web. Or that they'd get mocked for doing it either.

I'm not mocking them, just wondering why this one was different.

Didn't mean to imply you were, sorry. I was thinking more that the rest of the g-team would be laughing, pointing and calling them "noob!"

Maybe they were hung up on explain that this was indeed, "only a warning." Of course, it could also be pretty hard to put down, "Sexually Explicit Material: Warning issued for boinking a child furry in a slave cage while singing the Star Spangled Banner on Linden owned property."

Just basic human error, or lack of proper training, or insufficient time to deal with all the ARs that are submitted to the few staff who have the unenviable task of policing the grid. Can't be sure which reason applies, but for sure there are inconsistencies in the way Abuse Reports are acted upon, and some days there really seem not to be anyone around to deal with ARs. SL is a 24 hour world, and it needs a team of fully trained people to police it and keep it running safely for 24 hours a day.

According to Blondin, the Governance Team has been disbanded, and they have been merged with something called the "Residents" Team.

(I have no idea what that means, if anything).

the resi team used to be the in world lindens responding to support tickets.
that would explain why a resi linden was handeling an ar on one of my sims, no actions where taken there to, it was just a land discription needing to be clearer.
one advantage of this is that you can actualy talk to resi lindens

well dont know abut the incident report but when I was new I was shut down for inciting a riot. When I called that is what they finally said!

And at the time I was a new one and didnt go off my friends land.

Had to call them and tell them who I was and such.
