Hi all,

I'm hoping somebody will be able to help me with a strange problem please. Whenever I am ina store I can't buy anything, when I right click an item and choose "buy" the pop up box appears that usually shows the contents but it just says "loading" I have left it for a few minutes several times but no joy. I also have a similar problem when I try and open objects I have bought, the contents box just says "loading" other people have tried buying and opening the same items with no issues at all. I have a high spec pc, I have tried clearing cache and reinstalling SL but the problem persists. Does anybody know what is causing this please?

Thank you in advance

Maybe it's the sim you're in... try teleporting or walking to another sim... wait for your Inventory to load, then try? It doesn't necessarily matter whether other people in the same sim are able to unpack boxes; it matters that your personal Inventory is transferred from sim to sim. How about trying a Sandbox?

Hmm I just reread your post and it includes actually buying stuff too. Since you say your graphics card and PC are up to spec, what about your internet connection?

My guess is your connection is too slow.

This was the issue I had when I was running on a slower connection.

I could basically only shop in small uot of the way un laggy places

Hi thanks for your help guys, it does happen on sandboxes too. Also my internet speed is good (by UK standards anyway!) 20MB and I rarely lag unless it is a very very busy sim

Maybe you have a firewall interfering?
