To discover the grid functioning this morning? When LL announced that they would be shutting SL down for repairs last night at midnight, and that on short notice, I was certain I wouldn't be back in-world until after lunch today. And yet... it's working. They fixed what they went in to fix, turned it back on, and it works. Kudos, LL.
And now I am going to knock on wood.

I had a trouble free half hour this morning. Changed clothes, shape, skin, attachments, and phys-spammed Kuula just fine. I even triggered grey goo protection. (^_^)y

I had a great morning as well. Got my new monitor up, installed Nicholaz' BE-W and had a really smooth morning of shopping (waves to Phil), decorating my apartment and wandering. Can things be looking up? Is there any more of that Kool Aid left?

From: Ceka Cianci BE-W? is that an older version or a new release? It's the latest version of his Non Windlight Bleeding Edge viewer which runs on the old 18.5.3 viewer. He does have a new EC viewer for windlight, if you want that sort of thing as well. It runs off the Old 19 series viewer I think.

i was on straight after the down time last night and for several hours afterwards, i had no problems what so ever. I'm going to be one of those people that say "a weekly downtime might be a good idea". at least my dish's will get done once a week -Crunch

They all run off the same servers. Practically speaking, mainland is just a really really big estate directly owned by LL.

Is there any more of that Kool Aid left? Yep things really are looking up! Bought and installed a 32 lcd tv this weekend, have it tied into a new 8800 gt video card, FINALLY found the right beta nvidia drivers to make it look good and last but not least, Nicholas added in mega prim creation to the latest EC. Actually everything would be perfect but now with such a big screen, the mega prims look kinda small now

Actually LL was very fast last night - they said at 12am it would be down until at least 2am - at 1am I tried and got straight in trouble free - then had to go clear up the megaprim mess I made lol
