Suddenly there appeared to be a small white light hovering over my head. And yet I didn't attach or add anything new. I tried detach all and it didnt fix it.. what the heck?

Sounds like the thing that appears when you enable voice. To turn it off, go into Preferences>voice chat and untick the box.

It means you voice enabled. Go to Edit and your preferences to turn it off if you want  |
