Anyone make XS/thin boots for women? (white)

I have found a lot of cool boots out there.. lots of buckles, jewels etc. Trouble is they are SO HUGE and re-sizing something with hundreds of prims is impossible.

My legs and feet are quite thing. I need a XS boot, or something that can be easily re-sized (and not look like its just painted on). Current outfit calls for white, but in general I'm not having luck finding anything that fits me.

Suggestions?

Vikki resizing with hundreds of prims isn't that hard really, you may be surprised to hear. If you can make a copy of the boots then that simplifies things a bit.

Make a copy of the boots, wear the copy, click on both boots to select them, in the edit window choose stretch, little white boxes appear in the corners, click on one and drag down to reduce size. then all you need to do is use the red, green, blue arrows to reposition over the leg and feet. If your really careful, this can take up to half an hour, but its worth it.

However, be aware that resizing down can cause unexpected problems the foot may pop through the feet, or the leg through the top part, sometimes it maybe better to adjust the two feet separately from the top leg parts.

And because you used a copy if it turns out all wrong, just delete the copy.

vikki, nearly all womens shoes are designed for size 0 feet.
it really will make your shoe shopping easier if you just downsize your feet. nobody sees them anyway, cos theyre in your shoes.
my issue is the opposite, i can never find boots to fit my meaty calves, and downsizing those isnt such an easy option for me :(

Obviously being male my problem is similar, although I have reduced my feet size a lot I can't except having zero size feet (a male thing I guess), so I have to increase my boots to fit too. My favourite boots had to be increased by 150% to fit and I spent about 1 hour getting them as perfect as possible and i think the time was well spent.

Yea, this gets about 50% of the way there, but going after the individual prims is the only way I've found (in many I've tried lately) is the only way. Moving all those shiny rings, buckles etc. is tough. I spent that half hour and was close, but it just never looked right once I started walking around - as my foot would bend, the boot would come apart.

Then there are some that let you modify the leg part and not the shoe, which doesn't make much sense.

I have a pair of shoes that have a HUD that re-sizes itself.. XS fits nice.

That always happens, you just have to adjust the height of the foot part and the leg part to get it to an acceptable level.

Also it much more obvious to the wearer than anyone else, like a cold sore :)

Thats the problem, my feet are size 0, and my leg muscles a 27. When I put on a pair of boots, they are at least twice as wide as my legs.

I'm guessing there are some out there that are built smaller. I'm just having bad luck, and those that look promising are no modify or have no demo.

What you need is boots that have uppers that ARE painted on, but don't look like it.

I like a boot that hugs my calf, too. I love my Nordic Nymph boots...but I don't think they come in white.

A couple that have prim uppers, but still fit snugly, are

Off the top of my head, I think some of the Shiny Things boots have different calf sizes, but given that I am not inworld right now, don't quote me on it.

Good boots, at least.

I have the Nordic Nymph boots too, and they do actually come in white. They have a prim foot section and a texture boot upper, but the texture is very well done and they look convincing.

Worth a look - they're for sale on SLX.

I'm not sure if they have white, but Redgrave has some fairly slender boots. Also, Jaywalk might be worth looking at.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Have you tried Enkythings? I could be misremembering, but it seems as though the "Small" size upper that comes with is quite small. No buckles or fiddly stuff on them, though, just smooth sleek leather...

Szentasha has some with texture uppers that look pretty good to me, but I don't have any so can't say how they look on. They do have various lace/zipper/buckle options, which may or may not be what you're looking for.

I'm pretty sure both are available in white.

I'm pretty sure Maitreya has boots with 2 calf sizes. The small ones are 2 small for me so maybe they will work for u.

Nina, I'm not allowed to advertise here, but if you check my profile picks in world and look for an adolescent ape (wink wink) you might find something that will help. The upper parts are copy and mod. If your issue is a rl one, then nonsense! you are as slender as Gordon Brown's chances of still being Prime Minister in 4 years!

the biggest problem with resizing any item that has multiple parts, especially small pieces, is it will only size down to the smallest pieces smallest size (which is .01)

opposite for upsizing

that being said have you tried contacting the creator about a custom sized pair?

I'd go check out sfdesigns, they have their shoes available in various sizes. I'm sure you can find a great fit there. The demos are a good way to check for the best size for your avatar. I had to laugh when I saw how big the demo folder was for the winter boots. I love the boots I purchased and I've bought other shoes there too.

This is true. Thank goodness for demos, though maybe not for the creators who's boots I'm not wearing because I could fit both my legs in one boot. It's a similar story with some hairs too- there's a random 0.01m prim somewhere that means you can't shrink it at all. Resizing upwards is pretty straightforward- it would be nice to find somewhere that builds the smaller sizes first, then scales them up.

building small and scaling up doesn't work either some avs have stick legs others could win the tour de france pedaling a truck. The fit and look is purely cosmetic and no 2 ppl have the same requirements and alot of women especially want smaller than 0 on the foot part. Theres a limit to how tight you can go before draw becomes a real issue they look great up close but pan out its another story. If you see a pair you like I'd im the creator first or send a note and ask if they'd fit to your shape

Oh, while we're on about boots...

Whittenton's, my fave jewelry designer, has expanded into boots and shoes. Lizziey has some drop-dead gorgeous sculpty, hi-prim boots with the highest heels I've ever seen. They're pricey, but look fabulous. One pair's decorated with barbed wire...the wickedest boots for a domme or a demoness I've seen.

Well, the search goes on. I have almost given up on anything less than something fully painted on. I even picked up a pair of thigh boots from a place suggested just a few posts back (mostly painted) and it has some strange transparent objects attached that you can't remove (or you don't see the heel) but when they run into each other or hit the dress I'm wearing I see big tranparent balls. Yuk.

I'm starting to think I need to work out so I get some bikers legs so I can stop worrying about it. ;)

All high heels - and some other shoes - have invisiprims to hide the avatar's foot.

Depending on the look you are going after... Schentaza (sp) makes some boots that look great on the right legs and shape.
