Hi There,

Am I right in thinking that a landowner who has a private sim pays 295 per month, and any mainland they have on top is then paid at half sim tier increments?

So they have 29ksqm they pay 125, and then if they go over they pay full sim, and then it rolls back around?

Did that make sense?

Kind of. The billing for private islands is completely separate to the mainland tier system. You are correct that the monthly fee for an island is US$295, though some 'grandfathered' sims are US$195.

For the mainland, whether you own an island or not, the pricing increases with land holdings through the tiers that can be found here:

Only once a resident owns more than 1 sim of maingrid land does tier then increase in increments of half a sim.

I should have added that the half tier increments above 1 region of maingrid land are charged at US$97.50, not US$125.
