Invisible after orbit

I've been sent into orbit by griefers a few times lately. That's not a big problem in itself, as I can easily TP back or to another place. The problem is that I turn invisible at the same time. Neither my avatar nor my nametag is visible after being sent to orbit. I can still move around though, as my camera is moving as normal. After TP-ing to another place, I'm still invisible. After restarting SL everything is back to normal however.

Is there a way to turn back the visibility of my avatar without restarting SL?

There's actually an intriguing history behind this orbiting nonsense. See -- a (supposedly) recently "fixed" issue, involving the "Blitz" flavor of bug-exploits/weapons. Note that any form of orbiting causes *gruesome* sim lag-- but there are whole "businesses" that have grown up around sales of "weapons" based on it. Apparently LL has decided to bow to these, uh, "content creators" and adopt the rule to "not break content." (Good grief... good for griefers.)

That happened to me this morning. I was orbited, somehow someway...Don't know why or how,no one was even around me. But afterwards I was invisible. I was able to TP and stuff, but I was not actually there. I logged out and all was right again.
