Hi guys
Ever since downloading the new version of sl I cant view media and videos when I click my camera 'play' at the bottom of the screen.
I can play music but not watch videos.
I have checked that all the right boxes in 'preferences' and 'audio' have been ticked but nothing is happening.
I have also uninstalled and re installed Quick Time Player.
Has anyone else had this and what did you do to fix it?

I have also uninstalled and re installed Quick Time Player.
Have you updated Quick Time? I forget the latest version number, but I recall that you need the latest and greatest version of QT. Max |

may want to do a clear cache also... Whenever I upgrade I do a uninstall firs, dump cache manually then do a reinstal and never a problem

Hi..
yes, I have re installed the latest QT.. Number 7 and cleared my cache.
Any other suggestions?

Hi Riga,
Are you sure the link to the video you are trying to play is valid and/or setup correctly in your media link?
Copy the URL from the media link in the land setup and place it in your browser directly and see if it plays. If not, it's something with the video file itself.

Hi Kayla
I'll have a look but everyone else seem to be able to see the video accept me. The only thing I have done differently to when I could see the video's before is upgrade SL to the newer version and re-install the latest QT.. so for some reason, one of those operations has stopped me viewing media.. I cant think which one or what is now different to before.
