[11:01 AM --teeple] As Jack remarked earlier, this is an extraordinarily prolonged and unusual disruption.

Time for Captain of Titanic to assure us there will be plenty of lifeboats available. OH Phil, is that ice ahead?

Really, in times of a major corporate event the buck stop heres guy gotta step up, take responsibility and get the thing fixed and not point fingers.

Never mind Phil, where have you been? We've been running low on Plastic Multi Purpose Eating Utensils.

Phil rings the office: "Hi how's things going over the weekend, we won't have any problems will we?"

Linden Labs Office: "Pssst! its Him on the phone, he asks if everything's ok"

*muffled sound in the background*

Linden Labs Office: "Oh errrr, yes Phil every things good, no problems today"

Phil: "Oh great, that means you can send the tech team over to my house, having problems connecting to the int-ter-net, maybe they can get me back on-line"

Where is the CTO? Is there one?

Who is the top tech person now at LL? Is it Joe?

How outage does it take for the top tech person to post something? (and shouldn't they post on a regular basis anyway?)

Janitor Linden.

He will be posting on the Blog shortly, but he has to mop up the BR's first.

I thought this was going to be the SL version of 'Where's Waldo?'

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

I don't think the problem is communication, it's believable and honest communication.

Selective quotes from Philip's last two posts on the blog (November 2007 and January 2008):
From: someone
Stability is what we’ve got to be all about in the first half of 2008, at the cost of other work.
*snip*
For my part, I will start writing monthly blog posts like this to let you know about some of things that are on my mind.
From: someone
We will focus intensely in 2008 on continuing to make SL more stable. We will keep opening the SL platform up to residents, developers, entrepreneurs, and partners. We will shift from our historical focus on relentless feature innovation to put making and keeping happy customers first on our list of priorities.

Maybe King Philip is seriously ill or having devastating personal issues and no one wants to tell us that.

Phil would need a major Av update to be a "Where's Waldo?"

Unless he tries to hide out on OI.
