Ok im playing this game on sl, i have barricades in my invo, light barricades, and medium ones, but i cant click the button to place one down, because it says i dont have any, but i do in my invo, is there something im supposed to do?

Are you sure that you're allowed to rez stuff from your inventory in the I Am Legend sim? I've only played as an Infected Person so I never had any stuff. I doubt that the sim would let you drag stuff from your inventory to the ground. Don't quote me on that though.

How to use stuff you find and make in IAL:

1) Make or find said object. (First aid kits, light bulbs, barricades)
2) Go to one of the CDC labs and rez your object on the table
3) Click the object while wearing your hud, and your hud will recieve a credit for the object.
4a) If you have credited a barricade, find a barricade anchor point, and click one of the highlighted barricade buttons in your hud.
4b) If you have credited a first aid kit, you can just heal yourself whenever. If you want to "Heal other" make sure your crosshairs are pointed at them, and then hit that button.
4c) If you have credited a light, click the weapon light button in your hud, then choose the appropriate weapon light. TIP: Only use lights when you need to. They all have a break chance, and better bulbs break less frequently, and are stronger.

Lightbulbs, barricades, first aid kits can only be stored up to 10 of each kind in your hud.

You have to put them into the HUD first. To do that, you go to the CDC machine, rez the item on the rubber mat, and click on it. It will 'load' into the HUD, and then be usable.

Not at all. Just search places for I am Legend and you'll find it. It's worth checking out even if you're not going to play, the orientation area has some interesting outfits, for free, including a pair of rather nice boots worn by the survivors.
