How do you add someone to your land/house? For instance,so they can set the land as their home as well. Do I need to make a group?

TIA :)

In a nutshell Rioko, yes, you need to form a group. Read the information in Knowledge Base for more info on setting the land to group, and be sure to have at least two members in the group at all times. It can be useful to create an alt for this purpose, in case your friend ever leaves the group. :)

1: Create a group that will always have at least two members - two accounts that YOU own. Your main character is the owner of the group - the one who creates it.

2: Change the roles permissions in your group so your main character is the only one with permissions to pay liabilities, sell the group land, abandon group land. Look closely at the other permissions, as some of the others should only be for the owner or truested group officers.

3: Create a "Residents" role in the group, and allow it the role permissions for "set home to here", "Create Landmarks", "Build", and other roles you want them to have.

4: Strip *all* permissions from the "Everyone" group other than the ability to receive notices and proposals. Any other permissions should be added by assigning the person to other roles as well, like "Landscaper", "Officer", or "Resident".

5: When you are satisfied with the group roles and permissions, deed your land to that group. Must be deeded. Setting the land to group isn't sufficient.

6: Invite your new residents to join the group, in the "Residents" role. They can now set their home point on your group's land.
