I got a free skin from Imagen, put it on in a sandbox, and now I am bald.
Try to go back to the old skin, still bald.
Where can I get a nice free skin with ALL the trimmings? Like hair?
Why is this so difficult?

What type of hair were you using before this happened?
Was there perhaps a hair base in the folder with the skin? Since these affect eyebrow shape, many include it with skins, since most people use prim hair anyway. |

Are we talking about the hair on your head here? (God, I hope so, or this is gonna get real creepy real fast!
)Most skins do not come with hair already baked on. In fact, I am not aware of *any* that does. My guess is that, up until now, you have been wearing what we call "system" hair -- that is, texture-based hair that is "baked" onto your skull as a part of your avatar mesh. I don't know why it would have become removed when you switched skins, unless your skin also included a transparent or "bald" system hair. You can't take off system hair any more than you can take off your skin or shape. Rather, one is usually swapped out by another. The most common type of system hair worn in SL is the "bald base" - that is, system hair that is textured using a transparent texture. This is imperative when wearing the *other* kind of hair most common in SL: Prim hair - that is, a collection of specially-shaped and textured hair prims that are linked together and worn on the prim attachment point on the skull. The short answer is this: You just need to search through your inventory and find the wayward system hair that you were wearing before it vanished. Edit: If you can't find it in your inventory, then look in the part of your inventory named "Library". A copy of your missing system hair will likely be in there, unless it was a custom avatar you were using. _____________________
Of course, its all just another conspiracy, and I'm a conspiracy nut. Need a high-quality custom or pre-fab home? Please check out my XStreetSL Marketplace at http://www.xstreetsl.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&MerchantID=231434/ or IM me in-world. |

I dropped a folder of hair to your avie. so you can experiment with some looks. I'm not sure if there are any prim hair styles in that folder though. You can use appearance mode to create new hair styles too, again its system hair not prim hair.

The "hair" item is also used to edit the eyebrows. So yes, the "eyebrow shaper" is a bald wig with setting to make the eyebrows look nice for that skin.
