New romantic places?

It is time again for the residents to provide a new list of romantic places for exploring, dancing, and cuddling. A large majority of my LMs are no good any more - sims/builds long gone. I've searched previous lists here and many of those spots are gone also.

What new spots have you found and what old ones do you know still exist?

My dungeon.

While your dungeon might qualify as erotic, I would think the garden would be more along the romance line........ but then that's just me.

I got nothing except maybe Isle of Jade - prodigiosus II (49, 136, 21) and a couple of the surrounding sims. There's s'posed to be romantic dancing in the castle and a maze somewhere, but I mostly wander around and try to figure out why there are evergreen trees planted next to palm trees. It has the usual abors and gazebos and couple poses one would expect in a romantic garden however.

You can have a look at my "Romantic Forest" and see if it appeals to you. It might be a bit more modest in terms of the build than some of the bigger places you are used to. It's listed in search, but here is a slurl:

No mall, or club, or events or anything like that, but it is listed in search and open to the public. It's half a sim of forest with cuddle areas tucked here and there, dancing, flowers, trees, butterflies, that sort of thing. My store is on the other half of the sim, but it is pretty separate visually bc/ I wanted this to be a nice place for people to come and relax. I always wanted to do something like this, so when I bought a sim....I did. I hope to be able to keep adding little things to it and making changes as I have time.

(Oh, and the cottage at the bottom of the hill is part of the public space too. I tried to have a home there, but I have more fun making public spaces, so feel free to wander in. )

Sorry if this is more self promoting than you are looking for. That is why I usually don't mention it in threads like this, but since you were looking for different/newer places I thought I would mention it.

Actually, if they are cypress trees near palm trees that would be pretty typical of a mediterrean landscape. However, other types of evergreens such as firs, pines, etc. would be entirely out of place. Especially if they have snow on them Yep, that would be quite the tip that the sim decorator didn't know what they were after lol.

Ok, enough about landscaping. Wish I had someplace to offer up. Only thing I can come up with is the Zen-like garden Ghosty just put together ; Maya Sabha.

It's quite peaceful and reflective; it's still a work in progress so things will be changing on and off as required. There are hidden spiritual writings in little gems scattered about which actually could make an interesting thing for two people to talk about who are getting to know each other (if you're that type of person; if not just cuddle and such by the fire )

This is our new community where we tried to make it cozy and as romantic as possible. Grottos, hot tubs, blankets, dancing, dining, and more in a romantic woodland setting.

Thanks, Nimue. I have no specific expectations - just places that are pretty, big or small, and nice for either wandering or just cuddling and talking. This actually sounds perfect -- I've pasted the slurl into my notecard for reference and will pop over and check it out.

Come on over to etopia...we have beaches, forests, mountains, waterfalls and many nice little cuddle spots tucked all around. I even have some couples tire swings... lol

For my romantic dancing, Avilion Castle is still my favorite. Medieval flavor, but any type of evening gown appropriate.

Its huge and so many different places to go with that someone special

The Paramore is a women's only FORMAL Ballroom & Jazz Club. We have a few events a day between 1-9pm. We do the traditional BEST IN RED kinda events as well as special events which cater to a real specific niche (medieval, galas, balls).

We opened up a sexier dance floor which now hosts our non-formal events. The Ballroom is always set to love songs and romantic music however.

Search Places for Paramore to find us (Bunny Isles).

We encourage girls to come to our club with a date, or their loved one after hours as well. The music is always on and the decor is wonderful.

Well, i'll post this, we have a wonderful home, that is always featured in search, or in the Linden run blogs, like Winterfaire. OMG- yes! your place is fantastic - thank you from all Residents- it is beautiful

Many have told us that they find our traditional japanese sims are romantic to wander around. We don't have dancing or anything, just quiet areas and gardens for wandering or meditating with your loved one.

You can search for us in-world using "Hosoi Ichiba" or go to the blog I have in my sig on here. The landing spot is right outside our walled market, if you're not interested in that, just turn around and walk the opposite direction to start investigating the pathways! There are six sims in total.

Sometimes a girl just wants to run away with their special guy. Where no one can find them (except in an im box =p ) and spend quality time. And what better place than somewhere romantic and serene. (=
