Is there such a thing as a sim that shows a desert in bloom in sl? And barring that, any suggestions for realistic and dynamic deserts here?

TY TY, you freaking clever people~

There is a good selection of desert plants at Serenite Cutting Garden, Serenite (73, 228, 24). Putting them on a sandy beach with maybe a desert sky back drop and adding a few yellow blooms for accents might do the trick.

I haven't seen any exactly a desert in bloom, but there's got to be some somewhere.

I'll tell you, I'm a landscaping fan in RL and so obviously in SL and I have yet to come across this type of landscape anywhere. Don't know why this is; seems to be a concentration of tropical, very little desert. I've done searches in SLX/OnRez in the past and I think I came up with maybe 2 hits for a cactus. Seriously sad :(

I'd be as interested as you to find out about this.

There are a lot of cactii at Serenite, but none are in bloom, and really I was looking for a set to film in---something on a much larger scale than a few plants and some sand. But thanks for the idea, Weston! :)

Elora, dunno if this helps you, but there is a desert on the ground under the Grendel's Children store. Lots of interesting structures, desert plants, the whole nine yards. I was just wondering what else was out there... :)

Thanks Aeble. I'll check out Grendle's next time I'm in world to have a look at that!
