My friend is trying to run the ordanary (not the release or WindLight (which I think are the same now) , he's running the normal one and can see EVERYONE and EVERYTHING but himself. ... well he can see himself, but none of his clothing, or texture for skin won't appear. His hair might appear sometimes but other than that, he can't really see himself at all. I thought it might be a connection problem, but aas I said, he can see everything and everyone else just fine. What could be the issue?

His graphics card is ian SIS 650/651/740/661FX/741/760 series. Now I'm not exactly sure what kind of card that is, but I know it's integrated and that's what it says for his adapter type which I know is the card.

I really hope you can help. It's making hm never really want to even try the game again because something like this happened before but it was worse 'cause he was using windlight.

Anyone got any ideas as to why this could happen?

step 1, clear cache.
step 2, move from one region to another, and another.
step 3, edit appearance and get naked (one of the 2 can fix some display bugs temporarily).
step 4, well, youre propably walking around naked from region to region by now, and your inventory is reloading too slowly to get your clothes back on, so there is no step 4 needed anyways.

Well we can all see his clothes, but he can't.

It's something client side.

** Second Life may not run on graphics cards other than the ones listed above. The following cards are NOT compatible with Second Life:

* NVIDIA cards that report as a RIVA TNT or TNT2
* ATI cards that report as RAGE, RAGE PRO, or RADEON 320M, 340M, 345M, or similar model numbers
* Intel chipsets less than a 945 including Intel Extreme
* Cards with the following branding: 3DFX, RIVA, TNT, SiS, S3, S3TC, Savage, Twister, Rage, Kyro, MILENNIA, MATROX

Note that SiS cards are listed as NOT compatible with SecondLife.
