The Secret Garden on the Champlain sim is one of my favorites. :)

I'm curious about this - though I'm not planning any romantic overtures toward anyone.

Would it be nicer to find a romantic restaurant or go all out and prepare the "meal" yourself? You could be a master chef in SL. If you have land you could set up a little park, a tea table, some candles, pipe in some Pachelbel or Mozart. Or hire a string quartet (if there is such a thing). Have some doves or butterflies flitting about. I'm thinking this could really make an impression on her/him.

I know what I'm suggesting may be cost prohibitive. I'm just curious about how these things work in SL. Not that I've really figured it out in RL . . .

The Pavillions on the lagoon in the Hoini sim has a very romantic table for two, with views to die for. There are Sexy Jessie's dance poseballs and several channels of smoothjazz.

At the other end of the Pavillions are ballroom dance poseballs, and cuddle alcoves (don't forget to press the switch on the wall first! LOL, you will understand when you do it :)))

It is a class-5, virtually lag-free sim, private island, but visitors are welcome (but do not be surprised if you are the only couple in the sim). Afterwards, take your loved one up to the Scheherazadhe Gardens (use the blue teleporter), described frequently as the most romantic place in SL. Lots of romantic poseballs are to be found there (all safe, 100% romantic, not sex poseballs), and DO check out the top of the waterfall.

If you want to REALLY impress her, speak to the owner first (me) and I will come to the Pavillions on my Golden Magic Carpet, dressed as Sindbad, and whisk you both off to the Gardens after your meal and dance (Hoini is a 1001 Arabian Nights-themed sim).
