You're right Drivin .. with your 'thing' about that alt key .. we need more psychiatrists  But Honeybear and Eveline are right, it's too easy to get sucked in by the cutesy cartoony avatars and get spat out in emotional debris. And SL is not entirely to blame.

SL is perfect for psychologists, it is much easier to form reliable control groups in SL than RL, and the conditions are quite well controlled.
