Ok...I downloaded the update and noticed now when I'm editing my items in my shop there's an 'add to search' option.
I know this was discussed before but I'm not 100% clear on how this works...or what it's supposed to produce in search. My sales points are individual boxes that do not necessarily display a texture of the item....they are set above the item, so a visual reference in search isn't going say much. Can someone clarify what this new option does??? Since search is still primarily aimed toward traffic....I'm not seeing it as a particular advantage for my shop. *shrugs*

From what I can determine individual boxes will far better in the search than a vendor since each box would a search entry, while a vendor would only be one entry and not a very useful description on what's it selling. The blog entries that give you detail information: http://blog.secondlife.com/2007/10/19/new-search-currently-under-development/http://blog.secondlife.com/2007/10/23/updates-and-further-information-on-the-new-search-project/
