If you're going to sell pants, sell them with BOTH options, or not at all.

Low rise on men- plumber.

Oh I disagree. I have some lowrise that look quite nice on my 7'+ body with 8% body fat.
Show me a plumber that can match THAT! _____________________

There's low-rise and low-rise. Very low rise jeans just look like they don't fit properly - whether on women or men. But moderately low-rise can look fine on both genders, depending on the individual!!! At least in SL, the very low-rise jeans don't give even the slimmest of us those little rolls of fat over the waistband (or should that be hipband?) like in RL!!!

I absolutely *DREAD* having a ring of skin between my shirt and my pants. I could care less if some people thought it was sexy, to me it looks like I bought the wrong size top.

Some low-rise pants look good on a guy, but that depends on the pants and the guy Sometimes it just looks baaad. Try X2 Exotica and Desert Moon Clothiers (DMC) for good, full height mens pants. _____________________

My pants are cut fairly low, and I like that, but I also do not want skin showing between my pants and shirt. But I only have one shirt that goes down far enough to cover, and it has the bottom part of the shirt on the underwear layer. I also wear a leather jacket, so I don't want it on the jacket layer. (There is always a gap between my jacket and my pants.)
I never change clothes. Maybe that is part of the reason. Does anyone know where I can buy shirts that go down far enough to cover my crack? |

eh they should make them modifiable. It seemd the problem though is not the waist on the pants, but maybe the upper part of the texture is alpha? As an example that it is possible not to have a midrift though, look at Robin Sojourner's jeans. _____________________

What is with all the men's (and women's) pants with open zippers and belts all open to?? I do not like lowrise on men...and I have to disagree with the low rise on women being sexy, to much crack is NOT sexy. Gawd maybe I am just to old school. But I dont think it is sexy at all, it looks trashy. A nice low rise that does cover the crack, or leaves just a tad exposed is alright I guess but some of these pants out there......... yikes. |

Does anyone know where I can buy shirts that go down far enough to cover my crack? usually wearing a shirt in jacket layer works. I make 1 in shirt and 1 in jacket. usually always. And that is for the designer to make.. |

I agree it would be nice to have both options when you buy pants. That way if your shirt doesn't cover your crack, you don't look like a man-slut (unless that is what you are going for).

It is getting more common to see shirts also have an underwear layer. Not undershirt, the under pants layer. When you are out shopping, look for these because they will give a nice tucked in look with pants that do not come all the way up. Thanks, Rhonda I should have said that the bottom part of the shirt needs to go down to the underpants layer to cover my backside (not the undershirt.) If anyone makes those, let me know here, or drop me a landmark in-world. In the meantime, I will look for "tucked-in" type shirts. |

Hoorenbeek? is selling jeans now with both high and low rise options in the pack. Along with different belt options and versions with sculptie cuffs.
I hate the damn low cut, I like having my shirt tucked in and most of the low cut require you to use the jacket layer to keep from having a ring around your middle. _____________________

Low-rise should mean exposing the hips, not the crack. (Look at some fifties era movies to see where men used to wear their belts.)
And the simplest solution for men is to go shirtless, so it doesn't look like you've outgrown the shirt. If it's worth showing your navel, it's worth showing the rest of the chest. |
