Looking for a hud, or just dance balls for a few couples dances to use in my home on 512 sm.
I have only a few prims available to me, wondering how dance balls affect the count?
Could we "wear" the dances to get around the prim limit?
I have limited time, and so far, not found a vendor for what I am looking for. I would appreciated some direction. Two or three slow, "intimate" dances would be nice.
Thanks

As mentioned above, there are so many nice couple dances at Bits & Bobs and Abranimations. They typical dance balls take up 2 prims each.
Another idea if you want to invest a bit of lindens is The Rendezvous. It is a couples "vehicle" that allows couples to walk together (including arms around each other, holding hands, a carrying walk, "fireman's carry), kisses; you can fly and swim together, many built in couple "sits" and reclines...AND several slow dances. The updated version comes out soon but I HIGHLY recommend this for any couple and it is something you wear. Not sure about the prims on this one...may also be two prims but you get sooo many items for the price.

Another vote for Bits and Bobs' couples dances. The best 2 prims (each) you will ever spend.

I am looking for one of those Intan dance posts for couples - is it possible to buy just one, for a residence? If so, where please?
I looked and can't find those (in shops) anywhere. I thought maybe it's something only clubs can buy or something?

From: Clarissa Lowell I am looking for one of those Intan dance posts for couples - is it possible to buy just one, for a residence? If so, where please? According to their web site, they are at secondlife://Sunset%20Beach/95/174/24 When you buy an Intan dance machine, the base unit itself is not the Dance Anywhere posts, but a dance ball. The posts are just mechanisms you can use to place in convenient locations throughout the region so you don't have to be where the dance ball is to use the dance machine. You then have to put dances into it. I think it comes with one dance. Usually this means going to Bits & Bobs or wherever and stripping the animations out of the dance balls to use in the dance machine. The short answer is, no, you can't just buy a Dance Anywhere post. If you know someone who has a dance machine in your region who isn't putting the maximum number of dancers on it, maybe you can work out a deal to use a post from theirs, since the dance posts are copaible.

word of warning on the intan dance hud.....a friend of mine became the incredible dancing fool for days, after he stupidly logged out while dancing on one of those. No animation override, reboot, clear cache or detach would stop it and he had to go back to the exact same intan and click stop to stop dancing.................. it was quite bizarre.

But they do take prims for the machine, and then still have to rez the dance balls. What I would do is just pick a dance, and rez it from inventory when you need it. You don't really have to leave the dances rezzed in world all the time. Things you wear can't really make good dances. You will see the same issue that you have with huggers...alignment. The rendezvous is a great thing. It's dances aren't the best though. And it isn't a wearable. It's actually a vehicle that you rez and both people sit on. So you still have the prim issue. HUDs are the same way...either they will rez 2 balls for the dance, or they will act like a hugger.

Thanks for the warning!
And also thanks for the info on the dance posts. Hmm, I can get a freebie dance ball but didn't want to rez something that big.
Oh well. TY anyway.
Will look in at Bits and Bobs just to see tho.

Will look in at Bits and Bobs just to see tho. Dance balls can be any size. They almost HAVE to be modifiable, so that you can add your own dances to them. You can buy a ball (I think Intan makes the best ones, either for singles or couples). Rez it, then resize as needed. Or change its shape, or texture. Heck, your dance ball could also be your bookcase.
