Another new tutorial, this time on the Hypergrid, has been added to the Chapter & Metaverse blog.
The HyperGrid allows teleporting between any two opensims, whether in standalone or gridmode, creating one vast Metaverse from all the opensims, it does not allow teleporting between any of the LL Grids and OpenSims, but see below.
The Hypergrid is similar to the Open Grid Protocol (OGP) being developed right now between LL and the OpenSim comunity, that WILL allow teleporting between the LL grids and OpenSims.
