I had to post this again because I haven't been to this site for more than a few days and just spent the last half hour looking for my post that isn't there.
I've done the orientation and help island. I am now in the game but all I can do is spin around in circles until I get logged off for no reason. Is that it? Where is all that cool stuff everyone is ranting about?
Edit: I can actually MOVE now but I didn't do anything different.

Find the cool stuff in these sims (for starters):
Black Swan *The Lost Gardens of Apollo* Sector 13 My island (*smirks*) Bettina Tizzy's Chakryn Forest (in her picks) Lauks Nest Tableau Bliss Gardens (below - the islands are interesting) Clock Island (although I hear its going to be torn down soon) Hollywood sims ( great sailing islands - United Sailing Federation) Volcanic Cave (not a sim BUT because Leben Schnabel' caves rock my socks and inspire me to no end) Straylight Isle of Wyrms Devils Labyrinth (not a sim but a cool maze) Intemptesta Nox Port Caledon Calleta City of Lost Angels CASTLE BLACKMOOR (and the surrounding areas) Silk Waters Secret Reflections Vassar Island Cave Rua Water Gardens Lil Sturgis Piren Bistrano (on map) Saijo City
You'll still be going in circles when you get there, but at least it will be in a more scenic setting.

You can go to k your profile for a link to your posts by clicking on Quick Links, near the top right of the forum pages, and selecting "My Profile" near the bottom of the drop-down list. You can bookmark /invalid_link.html in your browser and find your posts using the bookmark. You can also do a so-called Advance Search, which you get to by clicking on Search in the bar of links near the top of these forums page, and then clicking the "Advanced Search" at the bottom of the drop-down search dialog. You can also go directly to the advanced search page by taking this link, /invalid_link.html , which you could also bookmark, and then putting your name in the name search field at the top right. To get help with your problem, you need to provide information about your computer system. What kind of computer, what make of processor, how much ram, what operating system, what service pack, what kind of video card, what version of video driver, how much video ram, what kind of internet service, what kind of router wired or wireless would be good for starters. You can do Help / About Second Life from inside Second Life, and then highlight the text displayed there and copy it, then paste it into the forums here. If you are on Windows XP you can do Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Information to get some info about your system. Any other info you can provide about the specifics of your problem, such as, for example, the exact text of any error message you get, would help diagnose the problem.

Where is all that cool stuff everyone is ranting about? Are you saying you're stuck and can't move? I'm guessing you know how to move if you've made it thru OI and HI. Try right-clicking on yourself and doing Detach All. Does that help?

/me wanders by to giggle at the OP's name
Oh, and if all you can do is spin, you're probably having a partial disconnect. It's happened to me a few times, but is usually fine after I relog. You might also want to go to Edit > Preferences > Network and click the 'Clear Cache' button, just in case you've acquired some bad data in there...that can make things crashy.

As a BimboZombie, aren't you supposed to wander in circles?
