I searched the forum for Group closing and Close group and didn't come up with anything. How does one go about closing a group they founded and own? It should be totally closed. There are enough members to make it a real pain to kick each person out, a notice has gone out that the owner is closing the group. TIA

eject all the members, leave the group and when there is no one left (or just one) it will disband automatically in a couple of days.

As far as I know the only way to close a group is to remove all members and let the group come to an end once there is only one member.
The group owner can't leave the group unless they make another member an owner.
