I'm obviously new
^^

So, call me Dani...or else >.>

anyways, My question is: what are some kick ass sims to go and meet people, role play, and just some sims that you consider to be a 'must see'.

So, in short: what are your absolutely favortite sims (no adverts for your store) and are there any roleplayers who know of any landmarks I may wanna visit?

Hi Dani and welcome to the forum :)

To socialise, try searching in groups for something that interest you and join up, or seek out an activity you enjoy in the places tab of the search (like "beach" etc.)
Also.... if it's your thing... check out the live music scene.
Or lookup the Forum Hangout (search groups for Forum Cartel, LM is in the land tab), where you might find forum regulars hanging out.

RP I'll leave to someone else to help you with, although it would help if you said which type of RP you're after.

I'm up for just about anything as far as rping goes as long as it's tasteful and has a plot and all of that. I'm just really curious about rping in 3D.

Also, what would be the easiest way to get to those place? Like..how would I find the SLurls?

Hi again Dani,

To get those places simply type the name into the Places tab of the Search. They should then come up with a TP button :)

Hope someone else will chime in with some RP ideas.

:)

For RP, you could try I am Legend. Just type that into search. Looks like it could be fun. The forum resmod killed me in about five minutes.

You could try the Gorean stuff, or Star Wars and there are a few dark RP places. If you type RP into search, you'll find plenty of places.

If you enjoy Lord of the Rings stuff, try a search for "Middle Earth" for several choices. Some of the builders and scripters have created some very nice areas, but be careful if you encounter any Role Players. They can be a little rude to tourists!. I can't use names in here, but if you IM me "In World", I can offer some contacts that are really delightful to meet, if Tolkien and his creations are of interest to you.

A really nice set-up is at Tahoa Mountain Ski resort. They have built a fantastic lodge and spent a lot of time creating a visually pleasing and relaxing area.
