Is there a way that I can check the integrity of all the items in my inventory, short of discovering they are missing when I try to use them?

But...but...that would take away the whole element of surprise. (Which would be another way of saying no, there isn't.)

When you Search your inventory for anything (I usually just go to the search field and hit BACKSPACE), it will load yoru inventory and count how many items you have. Keeping this number on hand (I use a notecard by my computer) will give you a good idea if things are missing or not.
NOTE: Inventory LIBRARY items are changed by LL frequently and upset the count. There are ways to disable this, but I do not know them. By disabling it, you don't load the Library items at all.

Except that we have that fun newish twist where something *appears* to be in your inventory, but is still missing from the database. It might come back, it might not...who knows?

I suspected there was no way to check the inventory but hoped there was. Given that the inventory is the heart and soul of SL, LL doesn't seem to care about inventory integrity much.

~Jessy That didn't seem to work for me Jessica. Unless I did it wrong. It was copy the item into a different folder and then wear it or rez it from the new folder?

I never tried wearing the things (never happened to clothes yet), so only rezzed in-world. Sorry it didn't work for you Kaimi ~Jessy
